- He was a brother to Zeus and Hades, and married to Amphitrite
- Legend says that he was pinning for Demeter and created the horse to show off for her
- Was known for his argumentative behavior and trying to claim other cities as his own
- Only second in command to Zeus, and his weapon was the trident which he could create Earthquakes and shatter all objects
Hades

- Whilst taking a draw with his other two brothers, he got the worst part of the world to control- the underworld
- He ruled the underground and the dead, he was known for riches and how greedy he was
- He was affiliated with Thantos, the God of Death
- His wife was Persephone, Goddess of spring and Queen of the Underworld. He captured her when she went and picked Narcissus's flower
The Twelve

- The Olympians were the twelve main Gods
- Their thrones were shaped in a U formation
- They consisted of Zeus, Poseidon, Hades, Hesita, Hera, Ares, Athena, Apollo, Aphrodite, Hermes, Artemis, and Hephaestus
- Hestia- Virgin Goddess
- Hera- Goddess of marriage and childbirth
- Ares- God of war
- Athena- Goddess of wisdom, arts and literature. Sometimes considered Goddess of war and stagey
- Apollo- Sun God and God of music
- Aphrodite- Goddess of love and beauty
- Hermes- Messenger God, considered the most clever
- Artemis- Goddess of virginity, the hunt, moon and natural environment
- Hephaestus- God of fire and metal work
